Synopsis The story follows several characters whose lives intersect in one day. Doctor Alan Fjord (Ljubomir Kerekeš) is lethargically wrapping up the session with frustrated actor Emil, Dragica (Mirjana Rogina) struggles with nervous bank customers on her window number 4, marginal politician Miran (Igor Mešin) finally leaves his wife to find happiness with bartender Iva and Vanja (Silvio Vovk) is a young man who connects them all. The theme of the film is a search for happiness and the crucial moment when the heart beats the mind and we do what we’ve always dreamed about.
Directors Biography Josip Vujèiæ was born in Makarska on April 28, 1980. He is a senior student of film and TV directing at the Academy of Drama Arts in Zagreb. Film “Gdje pingvini lete” was based on his own story for the entrance exam at the Academy.
