5th ZFF Kicked Off! |
More than 1100 visitors gathered for the grand opening of 5th ZFF, last night in SC cinema. Festival's chief Boris T Matić, producer Hrvoje Laurenta and a playfull Bib translator opened the fiest. Little later, a member of City Government in charge of culture - Duško Ljuština joined them on stage. In his speech, Ljuština marked ZFF as one of the most important manifestations in Zagreb and outlined it's role in latest City's decision to buy Cinema Europe. Festival was then opened by a Serbian Oscar candidate and European Film Award nominee 'The Trapp' by Srdan Golubović. The director himself presented the film with a humorous message to the audience: 'I think the film is OK'.
After the screening, visitors transferred to Green Movie zone - caffe &TD, and around midnight again to SC foyer to see legendary performer Louie Austen. The party went on till the break of dawn, but to pick some atmosphere details, check our PHOTOS section, or come today and see for yourself. |
