6th ZFF (19th to 25th October) |
Dear friends&guests, we are proud to inform you that 6th Zagreb Film Festival, a showcase of directors' first or second works will take place in Students’ Center Cinema and Europa Cinema from 19th to 25th of October.
This year, our well known feature, documentary and short film competition will be enriched with two programme novelties - Film@CRO, a section made of film masterpieces shot in Croatia and Big 5, programme dedicated to 5 biggest European national film productions.
In the following edition we will continue with our traditional and well received programmes Matinees, Vip Bib For Kids and My First Movie. During the latter, a second part of the book by the same name will be presented by its author Stephen Lowenstein.
10 to 12 feature films, 15 short films and 12 to 15 documentaries will be showcased in the main programme of 6th ZFF. These films will all be competing for the main festival prize Golden Pram along with the cash prize provided by festival’s main sponsor Vip.
We are also happy to inform you that our old friends, Belgian trio whose documentary film ‘Iceberg’ won the Golden Pram award three years ago -Dominique Abel, Fiona Gordon and Bruno Romy will compete with their new feature film ‘Rumba’.
This year’s documentary Oscar nominee ‘Salim Baba’ by Tim Sternberg will be shown as a part of documentary competition. |
